Pocket Mouse

touchpad in your pocket

macOS 14+ Apple Silicon + Intel iOS 17+ Free

What it does

Turn your iPhone or iPad into a trackpad for your Mac.

Move the cursor, tap, scroll, and drag - all from the device already in your hand.

Features

Everything Pocket Mouse does, and how you shape it.

Feels like your Mac

Pocket Mouse follows the trackpad settings you've already chosen. The cursor moves the way a trackpad should.

Gestures you choose

Swipe with three or four fingers to switch tabs, trigger a shortcut, or do whatever you'd like - every gesture is yours to assign.

Pass it around

Connect more than one device. Whoever moves last takes control.

Tap, scroll, drag

The full set of pointer actions, not just cursor movement.

Yours alone

Each device pairs with its own code, and anything you don't recognise can be blocked.

Private by Design

No accounts, no tracking, no ads, nothing sent anywhere. Bluetooth only.

Requirements

macOS 14 Sonoma or later for Mac. Apple Silicon and Intel supported.

iOS 17 or later for iPhone or iPad.

Permissions

Bluetooth is required to connect. Accessibility permission unlocks everything beyond simple cursor movement.

Bluetooth - required

Your Mac and your iPhone or iPad talk over Bluetooth, so both sides ask for it. Without Bluetooth the two devices can't pair at all.

Accessibility - optional

Simple cursor movement works without any permission. Taps, scrolling, dragging, and gestures need Accessibility, since macOS only lets an app synthesise those events with permission.

Grant it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
